Cocoa is high in antioxidants, the darker the better. This is also true of coffee. Cocoa beans and coffee beans have several similarities. Both are good for you!

The 86% is BARELY sweet, just enough to take the edge off the bitterness. One square is all I can handle at a time, although the "serving size" is 4 squares. (Woosh! Anybody who can eat four square of 86% has MY undying admiration!) I usually break a refrigerated square into 16 very small pieces, and eat them one at a time over a period of an evening. If you want chocolate, this is the ONLY way to go...

I have a square of 100% cacao Ghirardelli’s every once in a while because I avoid as much sugar as possible. Hmmm... Wouldn’t at all mind having it more often.
