A fast-food outlet became the first in Britain to sell pizzas with an extra special topping zebra, it emerged Sunday.
Yummy Yummy Italia in Burnley, northern England, launched the controversial pizza after owner Arash Fard, 33, visited London and saw frogs legs pizzas on the menu, local newspaper the Lancashire Telegraph reported.
The unusual meat toppings are bought from "alternative meats" supplier Kezie, which says the ingredients are ethically sourced from responsible farms.
Fard's zebra creation is not his first time experimenting with ingredients. He told the Lancashire Telegraph that his range of buffalo, venison, kangaroo and crocodile pizzas were a big hit with customers since they went on sale earlier this year.
He said, The main thing I get from customers now is that they dont believe that I am serving real zebra meat
But it is totally for real. The meat is all legal and all legitimate.

Spotted owl is still my favorite, very tasty.
Is it just me or is this merry-go-round spinning faster and faster and FASTER? Is it okay to still use the term “zebra”? (For some reason I thought they replaced it some past November with...)
Gee Whiz! I only use 'em to wipe my ***. It never occurred to me you could EAT them!
Technically they’re black with white stripes. :)
Oh yea, and if you let the eyes dry you can use them in a slingshot to kill more.
But, but ,but, don’t they have some symbiotic sucking grip on on the life cycles of old growth forests and killing more would threaten those old growth forests with extinction which would so rapidly increase global warming WE WOULD ALL DIE?

It is alleged that “red backed voles” (more or less, a field mouse) consume “Oregon White Truffles” ( a fungus infecting tree roots, allegedly conferring nutrients to the tree). The voles propagate the truffles by spreading the truffle spores after digestion. Spotty owls allegedly consume the voles.
As to why killing spotty owls, so they could no longer prey on the voles, would harm the vole/truffle/tree symbiotic relationship — that is a little hazy.

Cute!
Ping!
Spotted owl? Oh, yes, the breast meat is quite good if you barbecue them on a charcoal grill with some mesquite.
And a nice snail-darter sauce poured over them when they are done makes for a tasty meal.
funny!!
Uh-boy...
