Palin supports flaming socialist McAmnesty who is participating in the destruction of the country by supporting amnesty for illegals over the Conservative candidate Hayworth.

Let’s see how the story plays out. Will Sarah deem that this is sufficient to return the favor to McCain?

Good thing it's a free country, we can support who we want in the primaries, duke it out, and then come together in the fall to put a smackdown on the disgusting fools currently running us over a cliff.
Go J.D. is right. Which is what Sarah will be saying in the fall if the guy that made her a rich beyond her wildest dreams fails to win after she showed a little gratitude.

I wouldn’t read too much in this obligation she owes McCain. She knows Americans have minds of their own, we think for ourselves. If JD wins the primary, she will be behind him 100%. And I sincerely hope he does.

I highly suspect she promised McCain that she would do this for him back when she became his running mate. She is merely keeping her word, tough as it is to watch (and probably do).
To: Kevin in California
I figure that this is a sign she is running, and as a pragmatic and not principled candidate. If she weren’t running, she could have stayed away at absolutely no cost to herself; just tell McCain that she was a private person with her family to take care of.
Instead, she’s interjecting herself as hard as she can.

Because she is a friend and owes him for her current success.
Personal loyalty is an important character trait.

And unlike some politicians, she won’t knowingly tell a lie. The result for McCain is going to be damnation by faint praise.

I do not get it! Sarah Palin claims herself a conservative... and works against a conservative to support an amnesty pushing, Marxist enabling, back-stabbing RINO!!!
WHY, SARAH? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!

Hey, if she keeps wearing leather like she did on Greta tonight, she can “inject” herself as hard as she wants...

The irony and hypocrisy of your assessment, if true, is Palin is showing she doesn't have a mind of her own since she is obviously choosing party over Conservative principles.

I’m with you.
I’m done excusing her supporting McCain.
It’s a mistake...she’s supporting him like she’s running with him.

The fact that McCain felt the need to bring out "the big gun" tells me that he knows he is in trouble.
Go J.D.!!!

Meh, she owes him. I am sure there is all sorts of party politics and maneuvering at work here, but on some level, I like the loyalty she seems to have for McCain.
