Scott Brown: President's Rhetoric 'Inappropriate'
Republicans are not backing down in the face of Democrats' landmark health care victory this week. Instead, the moment has energized some members of the party, giving them a cause to rally around.

The GOP has been far too quiet, too cowed and too compliant for far too long.
Brown isn't meek that way.
This is what Republicans need to do more of. Good job Senator Brown. Now how about you and Gov Palin starting to coordinate your appearences a couple times?
See if the combined energy each of the two candidates bring to our party, exceeds the sum of the two individually.
IMHO the result would be electricity, and a potential revitalized GOP landslide in the next two elections. 2010 and ... 2012.
I am starting to like this guy. And he is getting some press. YOU GO GUY!
Brown will live up to his hype. He may not always please us but I don’t see him ever betraying us.
Yes, he is rock solid politically. Does not mind taking flak. he may not be 100% down the line conservative, but I’d rather have him in my corner than a lot of the go along get along types in the party.
Yes he has back bone and is not a RINO. lets elect about a thousand more.
You said it. If the choice is Scott Brown or Marcia Coakley-Kennedy, I know who I’d vote for.
“Yes he has back bone and is not a RINO. lets elect about a thousand more”
Not really. He’s talking about working with Dems to “fix” the bill. That means R’s negotiate out about 50 pages of 2700 and declare victory. The American people still lose big time with that approach. Repeal it and then pass any parts that pass muster as “good.”
I propose a rule for Scott Brown postings that is similar to the rule for anything mentioning Catherine Zeta-Jones or Ann Coulter. Fellow FReeper chicks, are you with me?
This battle will be fought in the courts. And we will win. The bill is broken and can not be fixed. We need a new bill. It is a nice bi-partisan thought. But the dems do not DO bi-partisn.
I have more hope from the newly elected conservatives on the GOP side, not the old timers who haven’t been vocal enough, pushy enough. They’ve become too complacent in their positions and haven’t done enough for the people they claim to represent. It’s hard to tell them from the liberals supposedly on the “other side.” Especially when so many stand at the podium and refer to their liberal counterparts as my “good friend,” blah blah blah
Decorum is one thing. This is not decorum. It’s an obvious sell-out.
Haha. That’s funny. :)
Just imagine a Palin / Brown ticket. Jim Thompson would need a bigger server for all the FR post graphics.
Wow, did you watch that video? Scott Brown is good.
If he keeps his record clean, he could easily carry 40 states in 2010.
Yes, I second that!
Well, we do want to be fair, don’t we? :)
