Curious George is a great role model. I was fascinated by these books as a kid--the little guy lived such an interesting life, always looking for adventure, doing things authority figures told him not to do but he wanted to try. Sometimes he ended up crying at the reactions of others--he wasn't trying to get people angry at him, he just wanted to SEE and DO things!

I'm surprised they didn't revamp him for today's standards. He'd spend the whole book sitting on the couch, curious as to what was on the other channels.

LOL! When my son was very little, he loved the Curious George books, too; I read some of them to him so often I could practically recite them.
