The Bruno one is kinda frumpy on the wrong woman, but the other ones are very classic.
As always I love your fashion posts.

Love, love your fashionista threads :)
I have two, original DvF wrap dresses. Perfect...except...somehow they have shrunk :( (some day...so will I). But in many moves over the years, I dutifully bring my wraps with me.

I’m sorry, but without the boob belt accessory, those are just over-hyped, super-expensive dresses! I can do much better going to Ross Dress for Less! ;-)

I gotta agree with others here, if folks are paying $300+ each for those, its time for me to change careers.

The clothes make the man, in Washington, or New Jersey, or Ahhnuldd's Cullyforneeyah, maybe. $500 dresses? The kind the McCain campaign dressed Barbie-doll Palin in? Drop a zero. $500's what I pay for a work car, not for a work ensemble.

I would absolutely die, if I spent that amount of money for work clothes.
There’s a reason I shop at Stein Mart.

Love DVF stuff...I saw a used DVF dress last weekend at a thrift store for $75.

That’s where I’d look first...but on the rare occasions when I need a dress, I’ll usually just make the darn thing.

I don’t care that Michelle makes a fetish of ‘em, sleeveless dresses are not highly professional wear.

Anyone who thinks $350 for a regular workday dress is a bargain is not very conservative, IMHO.

The Wal-Mart/Target stuff often looks the same to the eye, but it’s cheaply made, cut wrong, and just looks bad when worn. Might as well wear some of those really stylish FLDS dresses, instead. :)

I do not wear WalMart/Target stuff. I would not waste $350 on a dress that was not for a special occasion. Just because something is overpriced does not make it better.

Agreed. And quite frankly, the dresses shown are ugly. I can look better for less than 1/10th the price.
Heck, I got a fancy ensemble to wear for my brother's wedding for around $50, complete with the best pair of dancing shoes I've ever found!
