We love TV network pilot season because it's filled with such potential. So many shows in their infancy, casting announcements flying around, the anticipation of something new from our favorite showrunners... But while many of the announced pilots already have us praying for full-season pick-ups, there are plenty of others that we hate based on what little we know about them. Here are the potential shows that we hope don't make it to the fall lineup...

I object to all this sex on the television.
I mean - I keep falling off.
What, for Married With Children? If that's what you mean...when he left the show went downhill fast,IMO.
They haven't aired yet, so the rest of us can all make the same claim.
And I hereby claim that I SHALL NOT waste one second watching any of them.
wasnt body of evidence based on those patricia cornwell novels about Dr. Kay Scarpetta..a fictional medical examiner?
I ordered the UK videos on a Wed and had them Fri afternoon from Amazon.UK! I have a huge collection of converted videos but now....you are right....the world is my oyster with the player and the good vid sources ;)
Do you have a make and model of a code free DVD and/or Blu-Ray player? I would love to get my hands on one.
I’ve been wanting to get several series from the UK for years.
By the Sword Divided (English Civil War series from the 80’s)
The entire Richard Sharpe series
Lost In Austen*
* OK, it’s Jane Austen, but it’s Jane Austen with inter-dimensional time travel!!!
Cringeworthy perhaps... but honestly it’s impossible to predict whether a show can work from just the pitch.
Imagine the pitch for Seinfeld, or the Bob Newhart show... and it would’ve sounded like a dud. Everything depends on the subtle mix of cast, chemistry and writing talent. Even the worst premise can be a great show if it’s done right. Likewise the best of premises can be fouled up.
"Detective dresses like hobo and annoys suspects until they confess"
"Former Rebel soldier and his team try to make a near-honest living on the frontier...in SPACE!"
"Man tells his bored teenage children what he did when he was 30"
"Magician's assistant and a dysfunctional journalist. They fight crime"
"Detective gets injured and has hallucination of working with Magnificent Bastard Cop in the past. OR IS IT?"
"Special effects geeks blow stuff up. FOR SCIENCE!"
"Two blokes travel to remote location (river, lake, beach), catch a fish, cook and eat it. And the network pays for it"
Fag Hag?
Sorry, I just had to take a stab at it.
yep, i just didn’t want to get in trouble for saying it :P
"Police detective partnered with mystery writer. They fight crime."
Former Rebel soldier gets fired from his spaceship job and becomes a mystery writer partnered with a police detective.
Castle trying on his "Space Cowboy" costume for Halloween. His daughter said "Didn't you wear that five years ago? Don't you think you should move on?"
