Our Fight!
sirchtruth

The democrats have won. Obama won. The electorate voted for this disaster. After people elected these morons, and Obama they discovered who they really were, and what they wanted to do. NOW the American people are "angry" and don't want what we all tried to tell them these government religious zealots were going to shove down all our throats! A SOCIALIST agenda. All this time we sit here and discuss Obama, hoping his agenda fails and how we can beat the democrats in November. This is a waste of time! He won, he's going to do what he wants no matter what anyone thinks, it's obvious. He was elected, he can do whatever he wants.

The fight is not with Obama and the democrats, it is with our republican party and making sure we vote in conservatives who have the guts and backbone to change the current climate without regard to future election victory. We have to concentrate our resources and fight the REPUBLICAN party changing it from a moderate/rino bastion to a CONSERVATINE one. That is where the FIGHT is. This is where we need to bring it!

“[Obama] has taken over, Freddie, Fannie, Chrysler, GM, banks, AIG, students loans ... with this 18 percent, that brings it up to 48 percent [of the private economy] that the federal government owns or controls. ... And they are not done.” — Michele Bachmann

“The electorate voted for this disaster.”

You are right. The voters are responsible for this. Informed voters on the right already knew what we were in for, but the uninformed that “hated” Bush, wanted to teach the GOP a “leasson” and those that set home are the ones that are responsible. I predict that you will not be able to find a person that admits that they voted for Obama and his ilk.

The democrats have won. Obama won.

WRONG!!! The fight is far from over!! The people are the government, not the White House, not Congress and not SCOTUS!! They operate at the consent of the governed! The people will have the final say as to how they will be governed!

The OP(formerly the GOP) has been a joke for years for Conservatives. They are one reason why we are in this mess. Returning to the same party who has continually rejected Conservative values is the political version of battered wife syndrome.

The “fight” as another thread states this morning is with the MEDIA machine that essentially put this unaccomplished man of hidden background into office.

You can scream and yell at Republicans all you want friend but UNLESS you are able to get your word out to the sleeping masses, you lose.

The MAINSTREAM NEWS MEDIA/HOLLYWOOD AND THE MUSIC INDUSTRY collective is the powerhouse here-—THEY overtly and sublimally drip, drip drip into the entertainment-medicated masses 24/7 the agenda of progressive democrats.

We are experiencing the result.

This media icollective is who we should orgainze against and NOW.

People unless we demand nothing less than brave, strong conservatives we will always see the same results. What’s that line about insanity?

And now the entire healthcare system of our nation is under federal control.

I agree that wee need to elect conservatives, but if we give back the same behavior that the deem-ocRATS have given, then we will be right back in this same boat after the 2016 elections. We need to take a a methodical approach to rolling back this socialism. An all-or-nothing public-be-damned approach to governing will be a short lived victory.

Why on this day of all days are we fighting amongst ourselves and trying to split the Republican Party? That is sheer stupidity (Cass Sunstein, is that you?)

If you are in a liberal district, elect a liberal Republican; if you are in a conservative district, elect a conservative Republican.

Once you have the votes, you get the committee chairmanships and leadership positions (it is important that these be right of center folks with firm Constitutional principles, so that they are not just tax collectors for the welfare state).

Secondly, don't wait until November! Talk to your neighbors calmly about what a fundamental change this is to the nature and destiny of our country; remember to mention that state taxes will rise significantly as they are forced to pay the Medicaid fallout from the Cornhusker kickback, that discretionary spending, such as defense (I know, only in the DC fantasyland is defense considered discretionary) will be crowded out, then eliminated, to pay for entitlements, that 12,000 new IRS agents are being hired to dig into their private affairs, and that they will have to work extra hard to pay the fat pensions of all those new federal "workers".

Lastly, this will be tied up in court for a number of months/years; there is still time to continue to build support for repeal of this monster and implement real HC reform...YMMV

You are really out of touch, aren't you? Our fight is within our own party with those who lead the party away from conservative principles. The moderates and rino's have caused the republicans party's conservative destruction and led the party down the road to a dead end of socialism's edge. WHY??? Because they are gutless wounder or do they actually believe this s***! Can you not see this, or are you purposefully blind to it?

This day is the exact right day to start this fight! Sheer stupidity is advocating rino's and moderates lead the party. Tell me, where has the moderate and rino agenda ever advance conservative principles? You go talk "calmly to your neighbors and then wake up the next morning to see you country gone.

If you do not want the republican party to be led by conservatives and driven by a conservative agenda then get out of my party. Your namby rino crap talk as has been proven to be FOS!

McCain, Graham is that you?

Who pissed in your Cheerios?

I don't know who or what you are, but where I live, politics is a matter of addition, not subtraction. Maybe scholasticism thrives in your neck of the woods, but elsewhere we need to expand our numbers, not form a circular firing squad.

IIRC, my message to you said that only by getting majorities in the House and Senate can we appoint committee chairs and leaders, who should be right of center (translate that as "conservative" if you are in Rio Linda).

Once you have the majorities, work on replacing squishes with more conservative folks.

I believe that it is preferable to have someone who votes conservative some/most of the time than someone who is beholden to a party committed to the destruction of America. Again, YMMV.

In re your McCain, Graham comment, my Cass Sunstein quip was a reference to the fact that Cass Sunstein, an exec branch employee, advocates using federal dollars to pay provocateurs to disrupt conservative forums, which I find objectionable; the allusion was to suggest that we help our enemy by attacking ourselves. I will try to be more explicit in the future for your benefit. If you cared to check out previous posts of mine, you would find that I have been consistently and diametrically opposed to the principles and actions of RINOs.

If you think that your anger will attract independents to the conservative side, I think you are mistaken. People are people and will irrationally choose sweet poison over bitter medicine. We need to provide a positive message in a positive way to attract independents and "Reagan" Democrats. "Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down"

Two last points: I am a conservative first, Republican second; that being said, who died and made you the sole arbiter of Republican virtue? And what makes you think your rude, intemperate, vulgar, and insulting comments would be welcome in any private conversation or public forum? "Confirm thy goal in self-control"

Look. We are on the same team here. We just have a different way of seeing this. I believe you are a conservative, you better know I am. The difference is I refuse to let us get beat because we allow people in our party who are not conservative or too gutless to runs things. It's not a winning strategy only a destructive one.

Do you realize what just happened in this country? Our constitution, the one that so many men and woman have died for trying to protect has been completely shredded because we allowed the biggest loser liberal coddler in the world to run and get beat by a lying socialist prick who probably isn't even eligible to be President! We can not allow this crap any more!!

I don't know if you get this concept that THE IDEA OF AMERICA is dying, if not dead already after what has just happened. What I'm saying is I want people who are going to go to Washington to reverse this travesty, and as our conservative representative if you are not willing do what EVER it takes to restore our nation, get out of my party. Scott Brown, hasn't had a chance to prove himself, and I don't even care if he is a rino, but he better be voting conservatively or I want him gone, don't you? The only other alternative for him is to vote with the dems. What good is it to get people into a conservative party who don't believe in the agenda???

I have had it with the McCain's and rino's and the people who keep saying the republican party is this Big Tent. NO, IT'S NOT! You either will follow the conservative agenda which we all know is RIGHT for America, or go form your own party and try to do better with your stupid ass moderation! Which, BTW, NEVER WORKS!!!

I don't want independents in the party unless they are willing to follow the conservative agenda. I think we're saying the same thing here. Thanks for the engagement! If I'm too crass for you or others, may be you ought to go find your representatives at a cotillion. ;-)
