No longer going to pay taxes.
me | 4-21-10 | In God I trust

Posted on 03/21/2010 8:14:06 PM PDT by In God I trust

Our brave souls before us took up arms and defended what they thought was right. Many died for what they thought was right. We don't have enough of those type in this country now to organize and win a battle for the good of man. Therefore the only thing I can do now until a rebellion is organized is stop paying taxes. Starting tomorrow I will instruct my company to put me on contract status and I will pay my own taxes. Of course that means I will no longer pay taxes and I will take my chances and go to jail if I have to. We will be in a nanny state any way so why not let Obama take care of me at that point. I will fight the good fight until they find me.

I've been retired for 9 years now. What I do is just make the "right amount" every year. The Standard Deduction is 11,400. I have 3 deductions at 3650 each for 10,950. I have a 3000 loss for the rest of my life from the dot com bust. Added up that is 25,350 of free income. So earn as close to 2000 a month as possible and make the rest you need in cash or trade. I know handy men that mow grass and make 20k in a summer. How about EBay? Think of what you can do and you can make a living in cash with out any tax. Even figuring other peoples taxes using Turbo tax for 10 bucks a pop will work. You would be surprised at the people that would rather pay you do do taxes than to even figure a 1040ez. I've done yards, washed cars, done taxes, hauled off junk, and most anything else and was surprised at how willing people were to pay for labor.

Not paying taxes as a protest will just get you in trouble. Tax avoidance is legal and could be considered patriotic. A person that needs more income would, of course have to pay some taxes.

For me, I’m almost completely off-grid. Short of heading to the mountains or BLM land, maybe national forest, not sure what more I can do.

But I refuse to fund abortion. That is where I draw the line. There are many things that I do. There are many things that I can not do. There are many things that I should do, and there are many things that I will not do.

But I will not stand in front of my maker and say, “Yes, I helped fund the slaughter of innocents.”

That, I can not do and will not do.

Why not do something that helps — work on campaigns of Republicans to defeat the Democrats?

I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Thanks for the humor!

Chuckles’ suggestions are good. There will be many of us who want to develop ways to live on less money in order to avoid paying taxes.

It will get more difficult as the push continues for all-electronic purchasing. They want to get rid of cash just for reasons and times such as these. That’s why bartering might help.

Just read his post. It’s good. This website might just become a repository for info on how to keep it down-low.

I just want to be free.

I agree, and I’m with you. No way do I want to help fund abortions.

My brother asked me this afternoon if people were already doing that with Planned Parenthood getting federal funding? What do you think? I don’t know much about their funding.

I just found out recently (a few days ago) that they recieve about 30% of their money from federal grants.

I wasn’t aware of that. I thought the Hyde Ammendment said no federal money could go to abortion.

I am sick that any of my tax dollars might have funded abortion in any way, shape or form.

May God forgive me.

This is why the left can exist and even grow. I looked into funding many years ago and found that ACLU, Planned Parenthood, ACORN and man, many others all get their money from the taxpayer.

This has been a bugaboo for me from decades. Repubs can't even seem to cut off PBS when they owned everything. Where else would Planned Parenthood get money for crack baby killin without our money? I read years ago that the ACLU had $60 million in the bank when that was real money. Just look how hard it is for the Boy Scouts to even get a place to meet, let alone have any money. We finance Jesus in a jar of piss and everyone knows it and does nothing to cut the money off. We have church members that even vote for this. The Dems are evil and no one cares. This stuff isn't a secret, but it's like they have scales over their eyes. Does anybody even imagine what evil would be released if they took our guns?

Remember Jesus said, in the world we shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer, for He has overcome the world.

Although it’s blasphemous to suggest, if this is the course of action you decide, it might help to change your party identification to “Democrat.” Plenty of Democrats in Washington seem immune to any consequences. Think about it...if you stop paying taxes...you’d be eligible to run for office as a Democrat!

Cleaning houses is also pretty profitable. I kinda like taking jobs from illegals. :D

And what do us poor single schlubs with no deductions do?

Do what the illegals do- live off the grid working for cash, under false identities.

And since the government won’t have the resources to investigate everyone, anyone can turn anyone else in for favors.

Turn in your progressive neighbors as enemies of the state. That won't be bearing false witness.

There are millions of government bureaucrats on the government payroll...

Posting their names and addresses might cause many of them to seek other work.
