I must be a computer genius, because my first thought before I even clicked onto this thread, was to flag the address.
The problem in a massive bureaucracy is that there’s a different computer databasee for every single city department, separate from each other and from state computers. Maybe they changed it in the NYC police computer, but the NYC sales tax people almost certainly have their own computer, which is different than the state tax people, the state DMV has its own computer separate from the others, etc.
