So far this year, three Cornell students have leaped to their deaths in the famed gorges of Ithaca. This comes a year after a graduate from a decade ago was found dead at the bottom of one of them after having inexplicably returned to campus.

Very sad: Suicide, a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
??
Illegal alien and recent (illegal) immigrant reporter. The stories in newspapers make no sense anymore.
Did NJ’s Frank Lautenberg graduate from Cornell? He looks like the walking dead. Maybe he was found dead and then returned to campus.
It’s been awhile since I’ve seen a post on the City Of Evil.
PING
very, ultra liberal school....ultra liberal/Marxist area....surrounded not to far away by good old boys....weird.
I hunt deer not too many miles from there and it is completely different where I go....
I suppose they jump of the cliffs because they dont believe in guns.
Cornellians? Aren’t those the guys St. Paul was always writing to?
besides, they can't jump off of the building anymore cause they all have razor wire around the top

Leaping Liberal Lemmings 101 class?
Suicides always want to make an impression on the people they have left behind. They think that killing themselves will be the ultimate punishment to somebody against whom they had a grudge.
That’s why they sometimes go back to a place or kill themselves in front of some person that they consider “responsible” for their problems. It’s called “suicide on the head of [fill in the blank],” an old expression meaning that I blame X for my problems and the fact that I am killing myself here points directly to X.
After reading the article, it's just about what the sucidee wrote on Facebook, and what a friend of the dead guy wrote on his Facebook page.
All in all, a non-event. If you are going to kill yourself, couldn't you go and volunteer to go to Iraq or Afghanistan, and go infiltrate some Islamist terror network?
There's an awful smell.
Some say it's Cayuga's waters,
Some say it's (where K. Overbite went to ag school)
This is not really new phenomenon. Periodicallt some one just takes this very sad way to resolve their problems.
Oh no, whatever will we do if our ruling ivy league elites keep killing themselves? How will we the ignorant masses ever muddle through?
There is only so much pressure that can be stood by those who have bought into the liberal zeitgeist.
