Talking about Divine Right making a comeback, sounds like the democrat party. the acceptance of an elite make decisions for us, their attitude of "we know what's best for you" and "you need to be protected from yourself since you are an idiot" is very revolting and condescending.
Time for another Reagan type of revolution. I am old enough to remember that Jimmy Carter mentioned that we needed higher taxes and our standard of living needed to be reduced for the good of society. Good thing, we threw his @$$ out in 1980.

The author makes an excellent point. I had an online conversation a while ago with a Liberal who insisted that Liberals were, in fact, better people than Conservatives. I asked him a number of questions like “Are you smarter, more compassionate, more loving,” etc. and is this a genetic thing or what? He answered yes to all of them. I then asked if all this is true, does that make Liberals a “master race” and he fell all over himself denying that he ever said any such thing. LOL! It just goes to show you: those who are ignorant of history are doomed to repeat it.
