Farrah Fawcett was left out of the Oscar memorial tributes because she was better known as a TV star, it was disclosed yesterday

The former Charlie's Angels beauty was one of the biggest names to pass away last year and millions of fans around the world mourned her loss.

However, the producers of the Academy Awards on Sunday night neglected to add her list to a montage celebrating the movie industry's deaths of 2009.

Michael Jackson, Natasha Richardson, David Carradine and Brittany Murphy were among the stars featured.

That’s such BS, she was great in a big screen movie called “Extremities.” Michael Jackson was included, what movie was he in besides, “The Wiz?” Something fishy is going on.

Her big screen ‘fame’ rests on supporting roles in ‘Logan’s Run’ and ‘The Apostle’.

“Somebody Killed Her Husband”
“Saturn 5”

Among others previously mentioned.

But, really, who cares.
She was a pinup more than she was an “actress”.

She also had a small part in a Richard Gere movie called Dr. T and The Women but it’s just too embarrassing to mention that one. Still, it was a big screen movie. The Burning Bed was excellent but I think that one was a tv movie.

She sold more “big hair” posters than movie tickets.

Wait ... she was a Hollywood icon, regardless it was more for a notable TV role, but how was this any different than David Carradine?

Someone needs to dig a bit deeper, it cannot possibly be a simple *she didn't make a ton of blockbuster films*, not if they're going to include Michael Jackson and Natasha Richardson.
