They had an agenda to push. I suspect if they wanted to they could have gone with out “dates”, and just showed up an the same time. Neither would have gotten any attention, I am guessing that their sexual confusion is not a secret at the school. This gets media attention and the bleeding hearts can feel sorry for them.

Exactly. The article says both girls are students at the school, so they could simply have each gone to the dance as an individual. Insisting on attending as a romantic couple, with one wearing a tuxedo, is the kind of stupid stunt 18-year-olds think is really edgy and courageous.

Of course. And you can bet, there’s a mother somewhere in the background pushing and egging this on.

That place, everyone knows everyone. The people living there will not take kindly towards what they are doing. I know they do not like the negative attention.

She shoulda knowed better.

I suspect another prom somewhere else only Miss Troublemaker won’t be invited. Private party only. Oh well.

Exactly. Some girls go to the prom with their friends. Who would’ve stopped them? But, she wanted to wear a tux, go officially as a “date”, and she got the ACLU involved. It was all about attention and pushing an issue.
