A friend used to return everything he could fit in the postage-paid envelope. They have to pay to receive the mail (the heavier the more expensive), and then someone has to sort thru it. Costs them resources.

There was no return mailer. Just a 1-800 number and a web URL.
I dropped it in the cardboard recycling bin in the next room. I can still smell it in my office...
