Yep—I was an RO. Two boats, first a 688, then a 637. I remember getting a SG sample one watch, and ERF had been giving me a bunch of crap, so rather than walk down to ERML, I just dropped it down the hatch all the way from ERUL behind 6S. That wide-eyed look on his face was priceless as it was going down. And the only way RL-Div won any contest is if they blazed it off on the paperwork, otherwise they typically got their asses handed to them.

Agreed. I'm overhead (database). What I see is too many coordinators who are coordinating the facilitators.

I was overhead, too - taxes and regulatory compliance. Those things are necessary, but I think there should be an attitude of greater respect for the employees in the real business, even if they lack the credentials of corporate headquarters employees.

It’s too easy to hire more high-salary consultants on the coordinators of facilitation, instead of recognizing that there’s really only so much that kind of employee can contribute to stockholder value. Maybe what you really need is more cashiers!
