Overall she isn't totally wrong. The party did indeed cheat Hillary in favor of Obama, and cheat her openly. I gained so much respect for Hillary and Hillary supporters during all the Obamessiah madness in ‘08. I would prefer a Hillary presidency over an Obama/Emanuel/Axelrod any day. As liberal as she is, I don’t believe she would have enacted policies that would have allowed for our economy to go as downhill as it has.

But it’s obvious everything happened just as it should: God was setting the stage for Sarah Palin. The limelight is hers.

Yes and no. Sort of by definition, by the time a person is in a position to be elected to high office, he's no longer really poor.

OTOH, we've elected a good many guys to the nation's highest office who grew up in what would today be considered absolute poverty. Off the top of my head: Jackson and Lincoln. Reagan's and Clinton's childhoods would probably be considered poor by most today.
