Why was a founding member of the FreeRepublic LLC 501(c) board banned by a modmin/admin who is no more than a volunteer sitting at home on a ego trip?

How many thousands of archive pages were just fractured due to this foolishness?

Not only should a full explanation be given to the public, the admin who approved this measure needs to be publicly named, and publicly defend the position.

THis is the most abject failure of the modmin system that John Robinson devised in the history of FR since the rebuild in 1999.

If the admin powered individual was anyone other than current or former formal members of the LLC, the admin must be removed from the admin level and any admins who want to defend that admin should also make themselves publicly known and defend their position.

This banning is an indictment on the failure of the admins of this website. That is putting it politely.

Urban legend.

Except the part about the rats.

Humble can explain the gory details of that experiment as he saw it first hand.

Suffice to say that after the deer were..uhh... fed a certain mixture,
some of them attacked the camp. Having sampled the mixture myself,
I chased certain of them down and beat them to death with a rock.

Texas law permits this.. or at least does not outlaw it.

Anyway, the jerky and sausage was good.

And the next morning dawned with a rather contemplative Humble examining his rock for damage.
(This might make for a good plot for a silly short story, based loosely upon the facts of the matter.)

Do you make house calls? Cause I could really use some help around here, now that the twins are mobile and heck-bent on destroying the place whenever I let them out of the baby-jail! Er..baby ENCLOSURE. I would never put a child in baby jail, no way. Nope, not me. I’m politically correct to the extreme that way. ;-)

No but I'm sure there's someone who after botching the pizza delivery so badly, might be eager to assist you as long as you don't keep any deer in the backyard.

country club = money = fiscal conservative (lower taxes) = tend to find fiscal conservatism more important than social values

There is a certain connection, or at least an overlap. That's if you consider Republicans who are weak on social values to be RINOs.

Normal deer should be okay.
I just got back from checking the coffee storage containers.
All accounted for and unharmed.

Our shuffling snuffling hores from the underlevels of the Undead Thread are MIA though.
And “Joe’s Pizza” flyers were everywhere.

Hordes.
I really need to replace my dying keyboard.
*sigh*

But then my typos would be less, and many who expect them would go, “Wait. Something is wrong.”

Depends who’s doing the calling. Old-timers here can spot trolls a mile away.

shuffling snuffling hores

Okay, I'm not really suprised that didn't get any exact hits on Google.

That's a broad generalization. Some of the old timers around here couldn't find their a** with both hands and a flashlight.

That, and my chainsaw bayonet license is still under review. *sigh, NY...*

Just tell the sheriff you'll paint the tip orange. It'll be safe that way.

Hey, if the Mods are all busy trying to get the pizza delivery guys In, who’s moderating the forum?

The trolls are probably running rampant all over the place and I just got some good intel that the zombies are trying to hijack the pizza.

If one is searching with both hand how are they holding the flashlight?

To: Allegra; Admin Moderator; humblegunner; I Am Not A Mod

The (old) moderator announcment handle I Am Not A Mod was dragged kicking and screaming from the Unngh and Moose corner booth (reserved) and then ram-shot force fed some of my coffee.
Not certain what the effects are, but from the screams and the crackling on the other side of this door I’m leaning on, I’m certain I don’t want to know.

And it’s probably all my fault.

OK, let me rephrase it for you. If an old-timer spots a troll, it is probably a troll. In any case, regard the source.
