Why was a founding member of the FreeRepublic LLC 501(c) board banned by a modmin/admin who is no more than a volunteer sitting at home on a ego trip?

How many thousands of archive pages were just fractured due to this foolishness?

Not only should a full explanation be given to the public, the admin who approved this measure needs to be publicly named, and publicly defend the position.

THis is the most abject failure of the modmin system that John Robinson devised in the history of FR since the rebuild in 1999.

If the admin powered individual was anyone other than current or former formal members of the LLC, the admin must be removed from the admin level and any admins who want to defend that admin should also make themselves publicly known and defend their position.

This banning is an indictment on the failure of the admins of this website. That is putting it politely.

I think calling someone a “troll” is like calling someone a “racist”. Both can be proved with obvious examples, however, both terms can be thrown out there to smear people, without proof. You cannot defend it and the argument is over, so it is BS in most cases.

>Spoken like a true Mitbot

Wha? What EVER gave you the Idea that I support ROMNEY; I can assure you I’ve said no such thing.

>~ hey’d you see they caught him with his pants down ~

Given the ‘honesty’ and ‘transparency’ of our government I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that they did indeed catch him with his pants down... as they broke into the bathroom stall he was using. [/sarc]

>Massachusetts Romney Care KILLS BABIES.

Okay... when did I say that it didn’t? Or that it was good? I don’t live anywhere near Massachusetts.

>I think that’s the end of days for him as a Republican.

Finally, why should I care? Your post was wholly predicated on a fallacious assumption.

I’ve been in the ring with him a couple times over the years... Finally, his stupor of self importance caught up with him and he got the boot for a few days... Happens to the best of us...

You're just trying to get....errrr....more famous.......:)

The scale oscillates between "universally hated" and "famous".

I quit paying attention, it gave me headaches.

I just had some Frito pie last night. Your analysis is spot on.

I haven't had that in a while, actually. I'm going to have to remedy that.

It's also classic hangover food. In my early 20s, I probably had that just about every weekend. ;-)

Chili cheeseburgers with lots of onions from Beck's rock at that as well. ;-)

"I can’t imagine what in the world he could have done."

Constant trolling, especially on Palin Threads.

Double meat Whataburger with cheese & jalapenos.
Onion rings and a chocky shake. It'll put you right.

You’re pushing it.
I offered you a bread sandwich with mustard and now you’ve weasled ham with mayo.

Wrong. I qualified my statements as my opinion::

That I thought Palin was the most respectable of the democratic & Republican candidates for president and vice-president. That I also thought that such a statement could be taken as a backhanded complement, that is like the saying “better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick,” almost anything is; and, finally, that some of the more obsessed/enthusiastic come off as being a little too much-of/close-to a cult of personality. [though perhaps I wasn’t as clear in expressing the last as I should have been.]

Yes you should. I had mine at Hard Times Cafe in College Park MD. Quite tasty.

I wouldn't know anything about hangovers or their cures. < /innocent look>
