See what you think, but this appears to be gibberish. A crypt "150 and 180 meters in length" and "over 9 meters in height"?!? If it were a large underground chamber constructed (as in Petra, which is a thousand miles away or something) to capture runoff from the intermittent rains, yeah, but these dimensions would correspond to possibly the largest carved underground structure from antiquity. |

Interesting article - thanks for the link. I was travelling in this part of Yemen last year: one of the most beautiful parts of the world I’ve ever been in. Stated dimensions of the chamber seem almost too massive to believe, but there’s so much unknown ancient history in this part of the world....who knows?
