He was pretty good. It was a made for TV version with RJ as Jean Valjean and Anthony Perkins (!) as Javert.
Oh, I thought you meant stage. You’d have been a bit young to have seen the tv movie version when it first aired, that was in ‘78. I saw Jordan’s last film, “Gettysburg”, in a DC-area theater with my Civil War buff Swiss National uncle back in ‘93. My butt is still sore from that marathon sit, gee whiz.
