Most stars will have been eagerly preparing their Oscars outfits over the last few weeks in anticipation of what is one of the biggest events on the showbiz calendar.
And there's no doubt that a select few celebrities will be debuting the latest 'work' they have had done, as well as their glamorous gowns, Jane Fonda being a perfect case in point.
Following her recent admission that she'd had cosmetic surgery, the 72-year-old actress was pictured leaving a star-studded pre-Oscars mansion party in Beverly Hills ahead of tonight's event.
With a darker, cropped hairdo to complete her look, Miss Fonda looked a world away from her previous incarnation - however, despite surgery to remove the bags from under her eyes, she still an uncommonly large amount of wrinkles around her eye area.
Just two weeks ago the star revealed that she had gone under the knife, despite having a lucrative six-figure contract to front a campaign on behalf of L'Oreal anti-ageing cream.
She said on her blog: 'I just had some work done on my chin and neck and had the bags taken away from under my eyes, so I decided it would be a good idea to get a new haircut so people will think it's my new hair.

Oh, goodness, what did her eye wrinkles look like BEFORE she had them done?
Actually, I’m one of those types that doesn’t make fun of what people look like. I believe beauty is inner, and God sees the heart.
Unfortunately, from what I CAN see, Ms Fonda is far uglier on the inside than on the outside. I pray she eventually finds the truth, because only then will she be free.
Please Miss Fonda,turn your head the other way.You’re spooking the horses.
