Country music died in the mid-'80s. That's when the MTV-ization of all music began and all that mattered was a photogenic youthful appearance.

Country music as a kid was Charlie Rich, Conway Twitty, Johnny Cash, Eddie Rabbitt, Ronnie Milsap and T.G. Sheppard.

"Listening to Rascal Flats, Taylor Swift, Big & Rich etc, sounds like someone running their nails down a chalkboard."

They are all sissy men. David Alan Coe would kick their asses. It's a sad commentary when the most masculine, ballsy country-western artist out there now is named Gretchen Wilson.
