America's top ten poorest cities

What do they all have in common? All ten have either never elected a Republican or have not elected one in at least 20 years. Another big shocker, our very own Newark is on that list.

1) Detroit, MI (1st on the poverty rate list) hasn’t elected a Republican mayor since 1961;
2) Buffalo, NY (2nd) hasn’t elected one since 1954;
3) Cincinnati, OH (3rd)… …………………..since 1984;
4) Cleveland, OH (4th)… …………………..since 1989;
5) Miami, FL (5th) has never had a Republican Mayor;
6) St. Louis, MO (6th)…. ……………………since 1949;
7) El Paso, TX (7th) has never had a Republican Mayor;
8) Milwaukee, WI (8th)… ……………………since 1908;
9) Philadelphia, PA (9th)…………………….since 1952;
10) Newark, NJ (10th)… ……………………..since 1907.

More proof the Marxocrats and their policies are designed to make us all poor and miserable.

With regard to Philadelphia, 1952 was not the lats time the city had a Republican Mayor. Frank Rizzo, a Republican served as mayor from 1772 until 1780. In a later attempt, he lost due in great part to the usual dead vote in the city and by the Democrats keeping particular voting places open well after 8 p.m. Nevertheless, after Mayor Rizzo left office, the city began moving in the wrong direction.

Rizzo served as a Democrat. He tried to make a comeback as a Republican, but failed. His same-named son serves on the Council as a Republican.

There are a few parallels to be drawn there.

Compare those Cities with Cities with large illegal population and the large numbers of lost population.

Now, look at what the illegals do when they move into a City. IOW, illegals and Democrats are both poor, filthy, and want to rape the infrastructure and turn the City into what they left behind. Then, they move on.

There aren’t any hard facts that I can find. One only needs to look at minority populations and make an educated guess.

The Top 20 States with the highest illegal population, as of the 2000 Census, are:

# 1 California: 2,209,000
# 2 Texas: 1,041,000
# 3 New York: 489,000
# 4 Illinois: 432,000
# 5 Florida: 337,000
# 6 Arizona: 283,000
# 7 Georgia: 228,000
# 8 New Jersey: 221,000
# 9 North Carolina: 206,000
# 10 Colorado: 144,000
# 11 Washington: 136,000
# 12 Virginia: 103,000
# 13 Nevada: 101,000
# 14 Oregon: 90,000
# 15 Massachusetts: 87,000
# 16 Michigan: 70,000
# 17 Utah: 65,000
# 18 Minnesota: 60,000
# 19 Maryland: 56,000
# 20 Pennsylvania: 49,000

The order may have changed slightly, but the numbers have increased.

Best post of this thread. Way too funny, but ain’t that the truth. Have yet to find a successful city governed by the opposite of Swedish-Americans.

Seems like this list of cities has a lot in common with Rhodesia/Zimbabwe. Maybe it just me.....

I’m with you. Their colleague, Obama, is doing the exact same thing to the US of A.

Ah, Maryland 19th? I doubt it. In some parts English is a second language. There are probably 56,000 Illegals in Mont. Co. alone.

“Seems a little odd. There’s lots of money in Miami.”

There’s a lot of money in Miami Beach, Key Biscayne, and Coral Gables. There’s a lot of poverty in Miami.

Subsidize something and you’ll get more of it; penalize it and you’ll get less.

Democrats have always had difficulty with this basic truism.

That list, coming from the Census, is going to understate illegal immigrants, for one.

For two, it’s a decade old. Conservative estimates of the illegal population in North Carolina top half a million now.

El Paso is the only one that surprises me. Haven’t been there but I just don’t associate that part of the country with those other cities on the list. I’m guessing it must be illegals.

I agree. That’s why I included that the numbers would be higher. Fact is, NC has experienced over 200% increase in illegals, just like Georgia has.

IMO, this migration is organized and planned. Just like other minority migrations to formerly all, or nearly all, white Cities and Counties. What they don’t realize is that by doing so, they are defeating their own purposes in the long run.
