Lechers of late escape the age-old stigma of debauchery. They are no longer simply wanton ones. They now have a psychiatric disorder, sex addiction. How convenient. Not quite nice, but not as nasty.
Tiger Woods, the latest high profile, newly revealed letch, spot lit the sex addict pretext when he entered Pine Grove Behavioral Health & Addiction Services in Hattiesburg, MS.
He joins other serial fornicators such as entertainment libertines Errol Flynn, Mick Jagger, Jack Nicholson and presidents Warren G. Harding, John Kennedy and Bill Clinton among others.
Then there is the stratospheric number of professional athletes who cant resist all that cleavage awaiting them at airports.
Braggadocio Wilt Chamberlain claimed in the autobiography, A View from Above, to have had sex with almost 20,000 women. At my age, he wrote, that equals out to having sex with 1.2 women a day, every day since I was fifteen years old.
These vintage roués, unlike our latest crop, never stooped to the addiction excuse. They bed-hopped with abandon and a devil-may-care lust.

Its only a matter of time before child molesters are just “misunderstood” and only need “treatment”.
ugh
A lead injection to the brain is the right treatment.
They are the unfortunate victims of their addiction. Let’s not be unkind or judgmental.
Warren Harding was repeatedly accused, but the evidence to back the accusations is curiously absent.

Don’t know about it, but I’ll bet there were a lot of jokes
involving his name.
I’ve been accused of being addicted to Free Republic... but I’m not sure how to take that... :-)
Everything that the culture deems bad is now an addiction. It is based upon the premise that all human beings are intrinsically good and would act good if they were free from the affects of society and addiction. There is no such thing as a bad person, only victims of their disease and societal abuse. These people are just misunderstood. Tell that to the parents whose 17 year old girl was raped and murdered by a repeat child molester. Tell them that this murderer is really a good person.
Yea. Men are horny. Rich men can get more. Is Ellen Makkai a dike?
That’s all between them and God.
Another name for them was RAKES.
I've always that the would have stopped being much fun after the first three or four thousand.
OK, I'm dying here. Apparently every women that could jump in the sack with Tiger did so......they were all so pure. Tiger isn't some medieval king.... he's a rich, good looking millionaire. I guess all those married women in his bed were just....victims....LOL!
I heard some claim he was banging some woman in a closet while a Secret Service Agent guarded the door. Mrs. Harding came by and asked the agent if she knew where her husband was (all the while you could hear the thump-thump-thump coming from inside), and the mortified agent could only say, “Uh, no, Mrs. Harding.”
It’s true, we like to make up new names for our sins.
“Lech” becomes “sex addict.”
“Slut” becomes “sexually active.”
“Sodomite” becomes “gay.”
“Murder” becomes “choice.”
“Drug addicts” just “self medicate.”
“Railers” are just “venting.”
In this case the basis is medical. Long term exposure to the endorphen release of orgasms causes changes in the brain much like those from cocain.
I wouldn’t know about that.
*uncontrollably sobbing*
“I heard some claim he was banging some woman in a closet while a Secret Service Agent guarded the door.”
Harding is probably the most unfairly maligned politician in US history. He died of heart failure caused by overwork. Secretary of State (and later Chief Justice) Charles Evans Hughes gave the eulogy for his personal friend. While Harding did have an affair as Senator, there is no credible evidence that he did so as President. And when his mistress Carrie Fulton Phillips threatened to expose Senator Harding if he voted for war with Germany, his reply was a vote for war. Liberal John Dean wrote a biography of Harding, and after reviewing the day-to-day records of his administration, even Dean was forced to admit that Harding did a very good job as President.
That is interesting. I am aware that alcohol and cocaine can alter the brain, but I have never connected that to this phenomenon. I have noticed that many drug addicts are attracted to enthusiasm.
Harding’s main problem is that he was surrounded by questionable individuals, one of the main culprits especially being Albert Fall, the Secretary of the Interior. Supposedly the claim was he died of a broken heart after realizing just how corrupt some of the people he trusted were.
