John Walsh just made an appearance on "Live With Regis and Kelly". Kelly Ripa is a big BO fan, and so is her guest host Anderson Cooper.
John Walsh, commemorating his 1000th "America's Most Wanted" show, was guest #1.
Immediately the conversation turned to Barack Obama. Barack will be on the show with John Walsh. John praised Obama and said, "He has got a piece of legislation passed called the 'Recovery Act' that has put $4 billion out for law enforcement..." or something like that.
I shouted at the TV: "It is the PORK BILL, JOHN! AND IT IS A FAILURE!"
So now we know why Obama wants to be on AMW--it is another pathetic attempt to promote his horrible performance. And John Walsh is playing along.
Disgusting.

For some reason I can not explain, I have never trusted Walsh’s actions or motives!
What amazed me is Walsh used the phrase “Recovery Act”, like the intelligent viewer wouldn’t be able to figure out WHAT THAT MEANS....
anyone with a modicum of a brain (some of us who occasionally watch Regis DO have one! ha ha) KNOWS that the “Recovery” act is the much-hated, extremely-unsuccessful, miserable-failure “Stimulus”.
The whole thing just came off as a big damn commercial for Obama, and it was revolting.
Yep, I know exactly what you mean. I feel sorry for Walsh because of the tragic circumstances surrounding the loss of his son, but there is something about him that just doesn't sit right with me, either. Can't explain it, it's just there.

Should really look it up myself, but wasn’t Walsh in advertising, marketing or something like that before he became a “crusader?”
Let’s remember that this show is timeslotted to this audience for a reason.
We like to call them “The Leisure Class”, Those who are home in the day time, exposed to ambulance-chasing lawyers ads (You are owed MONEY ! MONEY MONEY MONEY!). It’s the entitlement crowd, And daytime TV is their realm.
I wonder if John mentioned his son during this interview, and the celebration of the 1000th episode.
Everything in this daytime time slot is geared towards Obama supporters. Unemployed,leisurely folks. Unemployed “un-leisurely” folks are those who are home during the day tuned into the internet and other job-searching functions. This TV programming will suck you in and mush your brain until ultimately - you LOVE Obama, Oprah, the View and Regis.

I’ve always had the same opinion of Walsh that I have of MAD. they have a good cause but they both tend to be “Sarah Brady” lite.
