OMG! That is simply amazing! I’m going to wear very bright colors next time I go eagle watching along the bluffs of the Wisconsin River!
It never occured to me that I might be mistaken for a GOAT and end up as their DINNER, LOL!

Wow. Think his eyes were bigger than his stomach, however.

Not necessarily - if snow is deep enough, deer can’t run, eagle goes for eyes, waits and strikes at leisure - gets two hundred pounds of carrion packed in snow.

These golden eagles are very aggressive. We had a thread recently with bald eagles carrying off piglets in Iowa.

Beautiful! Primal! I love the Tuvan music in the background too [I’m a big fan of Tuvan throat singing!]
If I get one wish before I pass this mortal coil, it would be to spend some time with these nomads and live in a ger/yurt!
Wonderful link! Thank you Randy! ;)

An Osprey is slightly smaller than a Bald eagle, about 75% but if one ever got you by the throat you'd be dead in seconds. The feet are huge and the sinews like steel.
They don't know fear.

We used to have a few osprey nest at the park I worked at during the summer. (I am still there during the summers.) I would enjoy watching the parents teaching their young to fly. They'd be squawking up a storm, while the parents would coax them into the air.
It truly was a thing of beauty.
The bald eagles moved in and kicked them out. As much as I love seeing the bald eagles, I miss the training sessions with the osprey.
