Prayer request from FReeper ExSoldier.
My wife is having her last and riskiest chemo treatment today. The big risk is from the carboplatinum that is the final part of the three chemical cocktail she receives every three weeks. This has been going on since November and as these things progress there is a distinct possibility for a “point of infusion” reaction that could be devastating. The incidence is rare but like I said bad in it’s consequences. They’ll have a crash cart and docs right there and since it’s being done at a clinic that is hooked right onto a huge hospital there is all sorts of care available.
If she gets thru the infusion she should be fine with the exception of the obligatory pain/nausea/etc she has been suffering all these months anyway. That should all go away in a couple of weeks and her hair should start growing again!
However, now she has to endure 6 and a half weeks of radiation 5 days a week starting in two more weeks.
I am a cancer survivor, and I had carboplatinum. I will be praying.

Make her victorious because You have already paid the price for this victory. Help her to place her faith in You and in Your powerful healing. No disease is stronger than You, Father. We confess Your very best blessings upon this woman and praise You for all that You are doing, all that You have done, and all that You are waiting to do in her life. Blessed is the Name of the Lord. In the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
