“The bottom line as she said will be Dr’s not accepting any new Medicare patients.”

Doctors will be required to take any and all patients.

As it is now - many Dr’s have full patient loads - there is always a way for them to avoid taking patients who’s coverage doesn’t pay fairly.

For example MediCal welfare in California - most Dr’s stopped taking them years ago because the reimbursement was so low and there was no timely payment. I worked for Dr’s back in the day, it’s been going on a long time. 0 and his buddies won’t be able to control that.

The President still has to sign repeal legislation. It's that simple. The Congress cannot pass any legislation on its own. That's a fact.

The Marxist would never sign a repeal or let it go into law without his signature. He'd Veto it. They need a two thirds vote to overturn a Veto.

Didn't Bob Dole in the early ‘80’s have the entire US code added to a bill as an amendment and have the parliamentarian read it. Just to get a bill killed when the democrats tried reconciliation in the ‘80’s?

By nature I am pessimistic, so I am very pessimistic that the American people can stop this. Obama and his ilk will twist arms and blackmail opponents into submission. They will find some way to get this passed. The only hope is that after it becomes law that the next Congress can stop it. I am hoping that the Supreme Court will rule that part of it is unconstitutional. Maybe if we can tie it up in court long enough for another Congress and POTUS can undo the damage.

We are watching a coup unfold, what are we going to do about it? Most of the sheep just see it as another political disagreement.

Of course I am expecting to have a President in 2013 that will do so. Taxes start paying as soon as it passes... we can kill it before the first person uses it.

And your basis for your “reality” lesson is? How about you take a dose of your own medicine:

The Democrats will pass it, it has been a goal of the Left for 70 years. They learned in the 90s that you cannot “waste the opportunity” and the more Marxist wing will push it through. Obama, Pelosi, and Reid are all on record as stating they will push this through this Spring (the sooner the better).

It is self-funded as taxation runs the system, meaning that you have to repeal the taxes since re-appropriation/redirection of those tax receipts would also require an act of Congress. So the bill will have its tax income, and that income is dedicated to the purpose of the tax. And you know we are guaranteed a Presidential veto of any repeal or change of the law, and the GOP will not have enough votes to overcome a veto.

It doesn’t matter that the majority of people are against it; if it is passed now, the majority of people will have forgotten about it at election time, or decided “hey, it was passed, I’ve seen nothing wrong” because they are too stupid to realize it’s a long-term issue. The blowback from this will be minimal.

A constitutional challenge is possible, but that’s a multi-year type effort; you won’t see it before the Supreme Court until the next Presidential election, for no other reason the SC would not want to take it up in President Obama’s first term for fear of being seen as activist or partisan.

Do not take my preparation for the coming fiasco as support for it; rather, I fully believe the saying “hope for the best but prepare for the worst”. And all indications are that this will pass, the worst will come true.

Sorry, "benefits" start paying out January 6, 2013. Before a new President is sworn in. This date was purposefully chosen because it forces the entire medical industry to have "made the switch" before any new President could possibly change it. We WILL be operating under ObamaCare before anyone new takes the White House.

And if the GOP does manage to capture the White House in 2013, the demands and howls from the Left and the media and - sadly - much of the health care industry will be to NOT change things because of the tens of billions of dollars and years required to change back.

Once it starts, it's done. And when it passes via the nuclear option, it has started. The war was lost back in June when it passed the House; remember, that is where HillaryCare was killed. This time, the Democrats got past the only roadblock. Now it's a done deal.

John Boehner was on FoxNews this morning and told us the American people to call write and do anything we can to have our voices heard. He said if we want to stop this this is what we have to do. He also said that if it passed and he did not think it would that if the republican’s didn’t have the votes after Novemeber to get rid of it they will see to it that it defunded.

I sewed the mouth of the “Fat-Lady” shut. So I don’t expect her to sing anytime soon.

I will never give up and I will not be swayed... anything built by man may be torn down... all we need is the will and the numbers... end of story.
