Does anyone around here know about this site? It is a conspiracy forum that I frequented for about a year to get the "inside scoop" on news as well as conspiracy theories on various topics.

Well, I was reading a thread on the Site that hinted at the fact that it could be a social experiment - a conspiracy to track the conspiracists, so to speak. Well the thread was deleted almost immediately and the poster was banned. Doing a little research, I found out the disturbing possibility that the site is truly run by the government or an agency associated with the government and those specializing in propaganda and brainwashing the masses. The site has been associated with the Tavistock Institute, an organization associated with psychological warfare that "began as a propaganda creating and disseminating organization at Wellington House in London in the run-up to WWI, what Toynbee called "that black hole of disinformation, a lie factory." (John Coleman). The fact that godlikeproductions has been associated with Tavistock is disturbing.

In short, they are "playing" genuine conspiracists and tracking trends and impact that fringe elements (consipiracists) can have on the rest of us. The site regularly gets over 200,000 visitors per day and so this isn't some tiny blog. There are times where stocks are talked about and it can lead people to buy or sell. This would be the sort of trend the government would track or be interested in.

AS of a month ago, the two sites that I most frequented were Freerepublic and GLP. Needless to say, I no longer waste my time on GLP - it's not what it appears to be. I want fellow freepers that may also be conspiricists to know the truth about the site. There's something nefarious about being part of an experiment that you have no idea is happening.

I’ve been there a few times, but the language and content get to be too much after reading a few threads. I’ve had some good laughs while reading there, though. There’s always a thread that goes something like.....”I’m from the planet Zeta, ask me anything for the next hour”, or something along those lines. The questions and answers are hilarious.

You are right - aside from the list of words that expose the site for what it is, there appears to be little moderation on language and content - it can have a negative impact on your thinking.

They didn't have to create another forum for that... they could have just watched Free Republic and found out all that they needed to know about conspiracies... doncha know... LOL...

Another site I visit has a ummm history.. with the previous owner of GLP.

Here is the deal.. the previous owner took it upon themselves to attack a person on the website I frequented.. all hell broke loose between the 2 boards. This board war of sorts, went on for YEARS and finally when the previous owner sold off to another guy. The new owner “Trinity” seems like a fairly decent guy.. he REALLY cleaned the place up. There were pages upon pages of spam, posted by proxies, people attacking the site relentlessly and he managed to clean it up.

I guess he is a marketing guy, ran a few websites that were ad sites and such.. some claim it was spyware but that was never proven. He will NOT tolerate certain topics on his board.. and has the mods remove them almost instantly. He will not tolerate board wars and such either.

The site itself.. is good for a laugh, but I have not visited in a few years myself.. just not my kind of thing.. I got enough to worry about without worrying about the aliens landing or the Bildeburgers taking over.. lol

I read something about Tavis stock not long after the election....scared me enough to print it out and save. These days (ever since the election of 2008) it seems the damndest things you wouldn’t have believed BEFORE, are well within “reason” now. The world is upside down.

Don’t know the details or the reliability of this website, but this is where I read about it...worth a look.

I have seen the site before in my pre-working days. I really only have time for FR now.

Frankly, there were a lot of nuts on there. I only visited since there used to be some occasionally interesting posts.

Wow.. never knew that. Mostly I go over there for a laugh sometimes when I am online. Used to be a major mess over there before he took over.. perhaps thats why

Monitor camera? Good try, but I have no basement. However, weird stuff does happen. My email account was hacked recently, so there are some weird people out there with too much time on their hands. A lot of them work for the government too.

I've just been banned from the site. The reason I was banned was that I simply exposed the site for what it is, a government-run entity. The thread I was responding to was basically going into how corrupt the government was, which, the site being government run, was ironic.

I stated that, regarding the site, that doesn't doing a "web query on this site connect it with the government? Is this part of the conspiracy?" Note that I had used very general terms so as not to be immediately "caught" by their forum monitors.

Within about two minutes, just like that, banned.

We are all being watched very closely I believe - the sites we visit, the calls we make, the conversations we have, the emails we send. There will soon be two sides and we'll have to choose how we're going to react. Problem is, much of what we will base our actions on will be disinformation perpetrated by those in power.

I was banned from GLP, also, although it was for posting about canibalism after the government collapses.

I consider it a badge of honor and wanted to not only get banned but to go out with a bang after I learned it was all government run.
