Sauerkraut has been recommended for years for the same reason.

Very interesting. Sassy loves to eat cabbage leaves just to munch on. I guess I should make the soup & eat more cabbage.

I’ve heard cabbage soup is supposed to be good if you have ulcers.

I hate to be such a stickler, but our mortality rate is 100%. Always has been, always will be.

Although cancer is mainly hereditary

Has this been established?

In Singapore, a study found that in non-smokers, regular consumption of cruciferous vegetables reduced lung cancer risk by 30%. Meanwhile, a 69% drop in lung cancer risk was found with the smokers.

Remember that a reduction in "risk" of lung cancer is not the same as the reduction of rate of lung cancer. Besides, most lung cancers don't occur until after the age of 65.

“No, google cancer = PH.”

That’s far from established, too.

I like cabbage and cole slaw but it doesn’t like me.

I’d eat it if I could.
