A BEAGLE cross has become the oldest dog in the world after racking up an incredible 147 dog years thanks to her weekly trip to the PUB. Lulu, who is 21 in human years, is deaf, walks with a limp and is practically blind, which means she often bumps into walls by mistake.
But her owner Travis Buckley reckons the hustle and bustle of their trip to the local has helped keep her mind active and on her toes for so long.
Travis, 60, has been taking Lulu to the Coach and Horses in Longford, Coventry, for her whole life and he says she loves the attention from regulars.
Awwww....thanks for this story..... ;)
A man, his dog, and his beer.
So now I have a good answer when people ask why I spend so much time at the bar.
Im old in dog years myself
I have a dog I got sixteen years ago and she’s still going. She’s deaf as a post and very gassy but shes still going.
We have one in America, too; but the title would be “Old Newshound Is Press Conference Regular.”
Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.

Dosen't get any better than that. ;~)) That's a cute dog.
Went to the pub every day too, but he had to be carried home every night at closing time.
Reminds me of the song _Catahoula_, by the Bellamy Brothers (which I know about because I happen to have a Catahoula):

“Catahoula, best friend I ever had
I scratch his ear and he brings my beer
and comforts me when I’m sad
My Cajun queen went to New Orleans and
spent up all of my moolah
I do not give a damn, I’m a happy man
Got a dog called Catahoula”
Taylor, the Louisiana Catahoula at 12 years old. "She is very timid with strangers but is very loyal to our family, when our 6 year old was a baby, if he was sleeping, and we were working outside she would run to the house , and sit by the step and bark if he woke up. Who needs a baby monitor when you have a Catahoula. Often times you can see her and our 6 year old rolling on the grass with each other. She only has two weaknesses leftovers and lightning storms. Taylor has had a few run-ins with porcupines she has a limp on her left hind leg, where she had a quill work it's way through." Owned by Murray, Kendra, and Donovan Brooker from Lea Park Alberta, Canada.
Poor dog, probably won’t live through the weekend after getting some press!
