In fairness, the way I heard it go down was this:

... the women’s team, having won, went back to the locker room (after drug testing) and started celebrating, like any Stanley Cup team ... then some media honcho said they had to go back to the ice for some pictures, so they went drinks in hand ... not sure it would have been any different for a men’s team in the same situation.
