Question for the medicos: How long might it be from contracting HBV to showing symptoms? I ask because I had HBV in 1990 and without any of the suspect behaviors associated with it.

H-B is bad but treatable. I didn’t say curable. Preventable? Yes. Curable, no. H-C. No matter if you receive treatment or not (interferon, steroids etc) you will both live the same number of years.. Most individuals have it for 20+ years and do fine.
