Every now and then I get the itch to turn a l-o-o-o-n-g post into a real live column/article and post it right here at my “blog”, Free Republic. I have to laugh when I see all the knuckleheads who post “excerpts” here for the purpose of pushing their own blogs, when all they have to do is forget their stupid blogs and post their articles and columns here at Free Republic and get 100X the number of “views” their blogs get.

For example, I just checked, and your column already has over 986 views! How many views do you think it would have gotten if you posted it at Gargantua.blog.com, or whatever? Not remotely close to that many, guaranteed. Keep up the good work!

I'm kind of amazed at the attention this is getting. Then again, Beck is a very polarizing dude. I really like him, I'm just pissed at his ranting against us Birthers.

I'm even more amazed at those who actually claim to have read my article, and think the I'm upset because Beck disagrees with me.

But the really REALLY priceless ones, are those who complain because they think I'm attacking Glenn over his not agreeing with me, and then they attack me because they don't agree with me.

Too precious for mere words. But to your point:

I have no personal blog. I, like you, do laugh at those who use FR to pimp their own insignificant e-drivel. As if they will ever measure up to JR's genius in creating FreeRepublic when he did. I've been posting here since late '97-early-'98.

This is the best site on the 'Net, and it's only going to get bigger as it (remarkably!) becomes cool to be conservative again. Never thought I'd see that again, either.
