A manager at work wants me to download a YouTube file for them to save and embed in a presentation they're giving.
Such things are a bit above my pay grade, technically speaking. Does anyone here know how to do that without purchasing software or logging on to some dubious third party site?
Thanks so much.
When the video is playing .. put ABC in front of ‘youtube’ in the address url and hit enter.
For instance, here is the address url for a Celine Dion video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYo39ezNzBE&feature=rec-rev-rn-1r-8-HM
Here is the same url with the aforementioned ABC: http://www.abcyoutube.com/watch?v=BYo39ezNzBE&feature=rec-rev-rn-1r-8-HM
Once you hit enter .. you will be sent to a page where you can download the video as FLV, MP4, MP3, 3GP and just about any other way that you want.
BTW .. You can click on the ABC link and it will take you to the page that I was speaking of as an example.
Thanks for the tip.
download.com, a subsidiary of Cnet has an extensive listing of software downloads and Cnet is totally safe.
Glad to help
bump for the record
I thought you just clicked on ‘imbed’, copy and paste.
