John McCain must personally and publicly explain why he allowed his staff to lie to the media about returning all $1.1 million given to his presidential campaign by a convicted felon; if he accepted even more from the felon’s law partners; and why he has not donated all the dirty money to charity as his campaign claimed. Federal authorities have been investigating 30 lawyers who worked in the now-defunct firm of Scott Rothstein, who yesterday was sentenced to 50 years in prison for running an elaborate Ponzi scheme. According to court records and statements made in court, from around 2005 through November 2009, Rothstein engaged in a pattern of racketeering activity through the RAA law firm, located in Ft. Lauderdale. During his plea, Rothstein specifically admitted that RRA was the criminal enterprise through which he and others fraudulently obtained approximately $1.2 billion from investors through bogus investment and other schemes. Appears that things will be real interesting in the dirt that comes out on Mc Cain.
I can’t imagine selling your name and all that you are for money, esp. when it is not needed for life.
I can see anything it takes to feed the kids, if I had that to deal with, but not for a fake glory of an election.
Hayworth was foolish to be in that advertisement, but that’s nothing compared to McStain or the typical rat. If all politicians were as immoral as JD Hayworth, would would have the best elected leadership ever.
