He should be required to pass a mental acuity and physical ability test!
If there is a minimum age limit (35) for POTUS - then there should be a maximum age limit for Congress.
It would be the fair and right thing to do;)
I guess he’s too old to learn how to cook fries or flip burgers. People with college degrees have snatched up all the Walmart greeter jobs.

Just look at what he has done for Michigan over his entire congressional career. More hard proof of the inane stupidity among regular Michigan voters.
Like so many others in Congress, the only goal for Dingle-Berry is to die on “active duty”. We have an ongoing contest among Congress Critters to see who can live the longest and be the biggest pimple on the ass of progress while accomplishing absolutely nothing.

The only good news is that it is for a 2 year term and not 6 years like in the Senate.
We can only hope and pray the coming November Tsunami will be strong enough to sweep him away too.
Dingell wants to hang on until redistricting in 2011 so he can pass on his seat to his wife or his son.
My husband is fond of telling me that it is much more likely for a politician to die in office than to be voted out. Let's hope 2010 is an exception.
