Good attempt - but there were thousands of I’s, Me’s, mine’s, and my’s in that mea culpa.

Still needs work - he should change his name from t’I’ger to Yugo.

never mind;)

Wonder what he will say the next time-—and there will be a next time.

MISTAKE = Thinking he could get away with it.

What part of this is so hard to understand??

I don’t buy it totally either. I think he also is relenting about all the money he is losing out on in endorsements and this would be a start in posturing to get back in the graces of some sponsers. I sincerely hope I am wrong.

It was a heartfelt and heart rending appearance for Tiger.

Those hypocrites who attack Tiger and then praise our esteemed ex president make me sick.

When asked why he did what he did with Monica, bubba said.......because I could. He never ever spoke from his heart about his own vile behaviour and yet he is revered by the msm.

Did the msm ever chase Chelsea down 24/7 looking to expose her own private life. NO

But following a baby to pre school......oh that’s just fine.

The man did not commit mass murder, he behaved in an immoral way but compared to what is going on in our country these days, it pales in comparison to the leftists in our midst.

Okay, rant over.

I agree it was heartfelt. Everyone gets a 2nd chance. Help the guy keep his kids in his life.

Yeah, it was one of the most generic speeches I’ve ever heard. TOtally stage-managed.
But that’s apparently all he was advised to do, and all he needs to do for now.
Guess what, though?
I predicted in the weeks after this story broke, that though he may return to golf, his game would never be the same, that he’d just he’d just have to take his place among the other two dozen top pro golfers.
I still hold by that prediction.
With or without the approval or respect felt from his pro
‘friends’, he won’t be able to recapture his mojo.
Once that starts to happen, I think he’ll go on a slow downward spiral and have to retire very prematurely.
Don’t forget that as that process is going on, every other pro golfer that’s been beaten by him, is going to work very hard to win the tourneys Tiger Woods has been winning, and if my prediction is correct, it will be a bit easier for them.

He didn’t voluntarily admit to making mistakes. He got caught. He had to admit and apologize.

MISTAKE = Thinking he could get away with it.

Again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, etc. What a stupid, immature putz.

A sin is a sin is a sin.

I think God cares more of what one does to ammend ones action than the action itself.

Not saying that I have ever “cheated on my spouse, nor have I betrayed the trust of anyone.” either.

Even Chris Farley was getting laid by beautiful chick once he was making a bit of money. OH please. I am surprised he did not read it from a teleprompter. It is all just too staged. He is a puppet. He needs to get real and tell us what HE thinks not what a PR guy wrote. But who cares. I hope he can put his marriage back together for the kid's sake.

The Chamberlain thing came out only years later, and wasn’t brought to the public attention by a ‘domestic violence’ incident, but, instead, through the agency of his autobiography, IIRC. It was almost a boast. I don’t know if Chamberlain was married during all these one night stands, or was ever married, but the two athletes have only one thing in common, and that’s the thing that charitably calls itself ‘sex addiction’.

I totally agree with you!

It was more about "not ruling out a return to golf in 2010". I'm sure that his sponsors heard nothing else!!!

I also love the golf announcers saying things like, "the PGA is nothing without Tiger!".

That is insulting to all the other PGA players and their fans!

Well, if he winds up doing it again, he’ll turn out to be up the wellknown creek w/o a paddle, and it’ll be instead
‘one helluva ho to row”-—(pun intended)

That’s right...anybody can go “astray” and make a mistake. But continually, perpetually with every low-life whore on the block?? The guy is a BUM, pure and simple. An arrogant, self-important, self-indulgent BUM. He’s “apologizing” because he thinks that will get him off the hook.
