this issue is above politics, it’s about the fundamentals of our country.

If this issue is above politics, why wasn't it raised when Obama first entered the race for POTUS as a long-shot? If this issue is above politics, and about your fundamentals, he shouldn't have been on the ballot to begin with.

I don't recall any debates about de Vattel on FR until Leo Donofrio filed a suit with Scotus late in 2008. Why wasn't it a hot topic during the campaign? There were plenty of folks questioning whether he was born in the US, but surely, it was also no secret that Obama's father wasn't a citizen or permanent resident since he first published his "memoir" back in '95.

At this point, you basically have your fingers in your ears and are saying "nah-nah-nah-nah-I-Can't-Hear-You!"

The matter of Obama's Constitutional elibility to be president (or not) do not hinge on when Freepers decided to start talking about de Vattel.
