When Trig Paxston Van Palin was born, his parents announced, "Trig is beautiful and already adored by us. We knew through early testing he would face special challenges, and we feel privileged that God would entrust us with this gift and allow us unspeakable joy as he entered our lives. We have faith that every baby is created for good purpose and has potential to make this world a better place. We are truly blessed."
At Team Sarah we believe that every child is indeed created with a purpose and little Trig Palin holds a special and very dear place in our heart.
For those in our society today who would stoop to the level of making fun of a toddler with special needs for cheap laughs and the almighty dollar, they have our pity. Anyone who resorts to comedy "material" of that magnitude is simply to be pitied, as they have forgone their own dignity in order to capture the sort of shock appeal that will pathetically sustain them with the small fraction of society that would find humor in such a thing.
Comedic hacks are nothing new to the entertainment industry. We can ignore them, we can change the channel, we can call them out when we think they've crossed the line.
For us, the bottom line is that Trig is off limits. Period.

Chelsea Clinton and Obama’s two daughters are off limits, as it should be.
I see no reason Democrats children are given a pass and Republicans children are put through the wringer.
Leave all of the children alone. When they are adults and enter the fracas on their own, then it’s different, but not until.
I saw Palin on O'Reilly at 2 in the morning. Not intentionally watching it. Fox news was just on.
I cannot believe how much O'Reilly has gone to the dark side. He asked Palin twice what she thought of the birthers at tea parties. When she tried to answer sort of neutrally, he goes well you agree when tea partiers are birthers or start calling obama a communist they are really right wing whatever his term was I forgot.
Finally she says basically they have first amendment rights and they have a right to ask questions.
I don't understand why O'Reilly cannot look at Obama's past and understand he is the closest to a communist I have ever had in my lifetime in the White House. And O'Reilly how can you say birthers are right wing crazies when you could not possibly know yourself if Obama was born in the US? Who do you work for now?
The Family Guy cartoon was brought up and my heart just went out to Palin. This woman has been attacked for raising her special needs child and not aborting him as the liberals would have done. How dare they attack a innocent child. O'Reilly called the fox cartoon writer a hater.
And oh gawd, Colmes was on and flat out said democrats need senate members who are Progressives. Evan Bayh was not a progressive to his liking. Colmes wants more far left liberals. I would not align myself with progressives with the hateful, racist past they have.
I was spitting angry, O'Reilly was basically saying sit down and shut up and these are the things you never question and you do not call a marxist a commie even if you think it. Be nice little tea party people. Bahhhh!
I hope everyone saw Ann Coulter at least. She spoke out about Biden and his Bush did things the same way as Obama on terrorist trials. It is bald face lie. Dems blocked him every step of the way. He wanted military trials.
Hyposcrisy is a major thread in this administration. Obama says his kids are off limits and then shoves them our faces. This was downright cruel.

Betsy McCaughey brings to our attention the Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel's views regarding universal health care. Dr. Emanuel is a health policy advisor to President Obama and brother of Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, so what he thinks may impact all of us. As Betsy points out, Dr. Emanuel has some very radical views regarding the rationing of health care. Take for example Emanuel's comments in a 2008 article in which he says cutting costs won't be easy:
Vague promises of savings from cutting waste, enhancing prevention and wellness, installing electronic medical records and improving quality are merely 'lipstick' cost control, more for show and public relations than for true change.
In other words, these procedural changes aren't really change at all. Instead, he thinks we need change in how we apply health care coverage. As Betsy notes, Dr. Emanuel believes doctors try too hard to apply the Hippocratic Oath to everyone as equally as possible, which is what drives up costs.
Instead Emanuel thinks we need to ration basic, guaranteed care to only those who can fully participate in society. Betsy points out a 1996 Hastings Center article in which Emanuel wrote this:
This civic republican or deliberative democratic conception of the good provides both procedural and substantive insights for developing a just alloca- tion of health care resources. Procedurally, it suggests the need for public forums to deliberate about which health services should be considered basic and should be socially guaranteed. Substantively, it suggests services that promote the continuation of the polity-those that ensure healthy future genera- tions, ensure development of practical reasoning skills, and ensure full and active participation by citizens in public deliberations-are to be socially guaranteed as basic. Conversely, services provided to individuals who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens are not basic and should not be guaranteed. An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia. A less obvious example Is is guaranteeing neuropsychological services to ensure children with learning disabilities can read and learn to reason.
So, according to Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, health care advisor to President Obama, the elderly with dementia and the young who have neurological disorders should be sacrificed for the common good. I can tell you that as a mom to a four year old girl with severe speech apraxia that prevents her from being able to speak intelligibly, this scares the living hell out of me. If you have a child with autism, cerebral palsy, Downs syndrome, or any other neurological disorder or chromosomal defect that prevents him or her from participating in society in the manner Dr. Emanuel or the government thinks they should, that neurological care would not be guaranteed as basic and would, therefore, not be covered in a government takeover of health care.
Making things even worse, private health care companies will be driven out of business, so that won't be an option for parents with disabled children, either, leaving them with no coverage whatsoever. This kind of policy would drive up the abortion rate, which Obama and other liberals want covered as a basic care, as doctors urge parents go out of their way to screen their unborn babies for any and all disorders and defects that would not be covered under basic care. If a child's disorder is undetected by prenatal testing, what happens when the disorder becomes obvious after birth? I shudder to think what the government would come up with then.
Emanuel's policies would lead to a further deterioration of our nation's culture as people begin to look at those with disabilities as objects that drive up collective health care costs instead of as individual human beings who have intrinsic value and rights endowed to them by God.

One thing to add to my previous post...
Saying that Palin was “asking for it” because her kids were in the public eye is still no justification for wrongdoing. It’s the same tactics some unscrupulous people to try and discredit victims of crime or rape.
It’s situational ethics, and I don’t play that game. This is a clear case of right and wrong.
Ezekial has many of his theories and speeches online. Each one made my jaw drop. There is a article where Rahm says his brothers healthcare ideas were crazy. But once Zeke came into Obama’s team, Rahm has been silent.
I tried to find the Canadian newspaper article also. They destroyed Palin for bringing Trig into the world. They said it was a hardship on society.
These people are pure evil.

At this point he can deep six, he has been given time to turn it around but its not happening. He is a bitter man who made a few wrong choices along the way on us taking back our nation.
Chris’ last comment to the DS girl was that he used to think she was sweet, but realizes she’s just a jerk like everyone else. Great line. I was a peer tutor in high school with these types of kids, and many of them were jerks, because people coddled them. Show a little patience and compassion, but treat them like people, same as anyone else.

These seems like the weirdest marriage of identity politics and movement Christianity yet.
IOWs “death panels” are not only a real concept in socialized reform of medicine and health care insurance it is a major pillar of how it has to function.
The show isn’t worth watching in my opinion...and is now even less so.
But we can either fight them earlier when its easier or later when its hard.

And It has nothing to do with the marriage of idejtity politics. It has to do with not accepting the brand that conservative kids are faor game for ridicule based on their appearance, or who their parents are.
