My involvement with the Libertarian Party began in the 1970's. I know quite a few Libertarians today. We must run in very different circles, because open borders has been a big issue for decades.
It's one reason I broke with the LP.
If your flags on your profiles are accurate, freedumb2003 is from California and ClearCase-guy is from Massachusetts. I can see how those have different circles of libertarians. Especially if Freedumb is from the southern part of CA.
FWIW, here in Oklahoma I don’t know anyone who is in favor of open borders.
