Sidney Torres has it under control

I see that Sidney is trying to get his own reality show started on TLC, I think they are calling it "Garbage Men"(Played last night).
Should be interesting and maybe funny if the pilot gets picked up.

Sidney Torres is and has always been a show boat. It's good for business and I love how he would take on city hall and of course Nagin when they tried to shaft him. He does a good job and it shows.

BTW, I had not heard of the reality show "Garbage Men" and I'm not sure if I want to see it or not.

Last time I went to NO was about ten days after Mardi Gras. Bourbon Street was checkered with dumpsters full of garbage and the whole street stunk to high heaven. Maybe we just have different standards.

I don’t know when you went to The French Quarter last but times have changed in regard to trash pick up and cleanliness.

My family lived in NO late 60’s early 70’s. There were no parade barricades back then. Us kids would hit one side of a float for doubloons and beads then run across the street and hit the other side.

Correction, the show is called "Trashmen" and the pilot aired last Wednesday on TLC. Haven't figure out exactly what Sidney is up to yet, but he's good at it ;^)
