Don’t you wish the critics like this A hole would just critic the movie on it’s own merits and not give us a re run of Mel’s life mistakes. I know tons of people that have gotten DUIs in their life and even some that do not like Jews so Mel is entitled to make his own mistakes without some idiot thinking his readers will think him a genius for citing them in a movie critique.

I try to limit my movie boycotts only to the most egregious examples. Again, the movie itself was fantastic. Suspenseful and intense.

Hollywood is so shot through with liberals and their attempts at propoganda that if you avoid everything with a lefty actor or theme you’ll end up missing a lot of worthwhile stuff.

simple but understandable plot with no twists

The plot did have some gaping Mac-truck holes in it.

The Kerry cast character was pretty nice touch. Even looked like him.

I thought Gibson was pretty dark and ruthless in “Payback” (1999).

In some ways, it’s a companion piece to last year’s surprise Liam Neeson hit, “Taken.”

They've got be kidding. 'Taken' was a *great* action flick - EoD I found utterly boring. Too much time wasted with superficial blabla and not nearly enough 'go' for the genre. Hey, we're not talking Ingmar Bergman depth here. I'll rate it Three Yawns.

We saw the film and liked it alot. Vintage Mel Gibson. Great story and direction. And the shots at the democrats were right on target.

But it was very bleak. There's no real redemption for the story itself in the end which may be how Gibson's feeling these days.

I’ll take that chance. The DH and I see one movie every 2 years on average. We used to watch about 2 per year on TV, but within the last year, that may have jumped to about 4.
