Emmy-winning actor Alec Baldwin blew a gasket Thursday and attacked a photographer while police and a pack of reporters looked on with amazement.
"This guy! This guy!" the actor yelled as he burst out of a lobby and grabbed New York Post photographer Tim Wiencis by the collar. Cops immediately pulled the actor off Wiencis and hustled him back inside.
A witness said Baldwin was pacing around the lobby muttering: "They are the lowest scum of the Earth. They are the lowest scum of the Earth."
Meanwhile, an incredulous Wiencis told cops, "He just assaulted me."
No charges were filed...

In the interest of truth...Baldwin was arguing on the phone with his daughter who was in LA (did not find him), got frustrated and hung up after telling "I'm taking an Ambien (not a bunch of pills) and going to bed" (not "going to kill myself").
If your version were true then Baldwin would not have been released without 24 hours of observation.

Sounds more like Baldwin is the one who got stoned.
I think maybe no charges were filed because the photog touched Baldwin first.
You can’t do that.
The true victim in all of this is their daughter,Ireland. She is caught in the middle of the vicious and childish vengeful behavior of parents who should have never been married in the first place. I would imagine she is overly responsible already and wait and see: When she dates, she will probably find an addict who needs fixing and who has the maturity level of a two year old. If I were her, I would “divorce” both parents and find another relative to live with who is sane.
