What do I mean? I mean, the excuse given is that her Mom backed out of watching the kid. You don’t think it possible she asked her Mom to say she backed out so she could avoid deployment?

Dems just don’t seem to understand the importance of a nuclear family - one dad, one mom, children produced by the one dad, one mom. I doubt we can survive as a culture/nation with the collapse of the family unit. Children born to unwed parents are much more likely to drop out of school and be arrested, have a hard time finding jobs, etc. The government can never replace parents.

I agree with you, but she will be chaptered out only. I wonder where the child’s baby daddy be staying? Probably incarcerated or high at the local crack den.

I am willing to bet she liked the money, but not the responsibility of being deployed.

Issue her a dishorable discharge and see how long it takes odummy to upgrade it.

first off— you can disagree without telling us we “don’t realize” something.

secondly— I used the word MOTHER, not woman or women.

thirdly— I stand by my post. MOTHERS should not be combat soldiers, regardless of what revelation you feel I don’t understand.

Okay, I'll ask the question nobody has yet to ask here:

Where's daddy in all of this?

A dishonorable discharge is a punitive discharge and can only be awarded by a General Court-Martial (for the most serious offenses).

An administrative discharge is not awarded by court-martial.

“I do train my own daughters in firearms”
I own a Marlin lever action rifle and know how to use it. I think it is important for women to know how to use a firearm in case of an emergency. Many a pioneer mother fended off wild cats and such with a musket while her husband was away I dare say. I appreciate that you are raising your daughters to be women who uphold the virtues of biblical womanhood. You are a rare breed. There is a reason God made males and females to uphold different roles. When the man and woman in a family follow the Scriptural guidelines, then you have joy in a relationship. It is only when the man or the woman betray those guidelines that you have problems. Thanks for your encouragement!!

Sueuprising,

Are you familiar with(?):

1. Samuel Blumenfeld
2. Foundation for American Christian Education, Chesapeake, VA.

Yes, I have heard of Samuel Blumenfeld and his works on education. I had not heard of the Foundation for American Christian Education but when I read their web site, I saw that they work in conjunction with the ACSI. For six years I taught in a Christian school that was a member of that organization. That Christianity informed this nation is without question, but is always debated today. I believe that this is the direct result of atheistic socialists in the public school unions who have systematically sought to remove all traces of Christian thought from the educational sphere. About 20 years ago or so, my sister, who is an administrator with a public school on Long Island went to a convention of her peers in Albany. I will never forget what she told me she witnessed there. A very prominent educator took the podium and proceeded to state that the problems in society and in education in general was the fault of “fundamentalist Christians.” My sister remembered that he actually was sputtering while he was saying these things, and the audience looked at each other in surprise. Of course, there was no retorts to his stance as I would assume the participants wanted to hold on to their state mandated salaries and eventual pensions. So, this type of thing made up my mind that the schools were never going to be the same as they were a hundred years ago. Thanks for the information!
