I'm a Palin supporter.

However, I think she needs to study history, geo-politics and international relations, economics etc.

She needs more facts and data to go along with her colloquial observations.

Many Freepers could beat her at Political Trivia.

You say you're a supporter.

Do you think Sarah Palin is a *wise* person? Wisdom is different from IQ, intellect, erudition, being a news junkie, an ideologue...

Why on earth would any President NEED a head full of Political Trivia? Truly! I don't care if someone running for President doesn't know all the histories of every country, or even the names of each of the Heads of State. All that can be learned, by an reasonably smart person, and Sarah is nothing, if not smart.

What I want in a President is someone who can admit when they don't know enough about a subject, but can find someone who does, to educate them. I also want someone with good strong character, and who is a natural born leader, with solid accomplishments, who won't lie to the citizens of this country about what he or she believes, in order to be 'liked' or 'accepted'. Give it to us straight, and we can make the decision whether or not to support them.

Frankly I’m not into a trivia test for my political leaders. Trivia, by definition, is interesting but unimportant information.

Rather, I want my political leaders to think on a grand scale, to analyze and form useful conclusions.

Also, you say she is deficient in history, geo-politics, international relations, economics etc. Please explain. Be specific if you can.

US presidents have never been masters of even one of the things you mentioned. That is why they have advisors and cabinets.

One thing that Palin does have in abundance is the ability to express herself in a way that gets her listeners fired up and ready to crusade for her. I think people believe she is talking to them about things they value—not talking at them.

Perhaps you envy her that ability as you put high value on trivia.

Many Freepers could beat her at Political Trivia.

Jimmuh Cartuh could beat her at political trivia too. So what does that prove.

She needs to do nothing but project herself in venues that override the polluted MSM. Like the recent speech, where they were relegated to the status of the audience. They were reduced to what--kvetching about her notes on her hand.

The woman speaks for herself, and the common man relates to her instantly. If this keeps up, the media's slimey attacks will begin to blow up in their own pustulent faces, as the average American will begin to realize, an attack on Sarah Palin is an attack on them and their own values.

That sh*t won't fly for long. Soon it will be a replay of the Limbaugh Effect--the more virulent and hateful the attack against him, the more popular he becomes. Idiot liberals never get that until it is too late--more proof the God hates liberals and makes them stupid.
