What does Palin need to do to lower her unfavoribles ?

Posted on 02/11/2010 4:11:59 PM PST by se_ohio_young_conservative

Do a majority of Americans honestly believe she is stupid ? I mean, seriously ?

How can her unfavoribles be so high ? What did she do wrong ? What is she not doing right ?

What does she need to do ? Take a nationally televised IQ test ?

I don't understand why so many regular people think the way they do about her. What happened ?

Maybe for you. Not for me.

You're either lying, or off your meds.

This same polling group just came out and said 61% of Americans wanted Obamacare.

Think it might have a bias in there?

She needs to keep doing what she is doing which is basically attacking Washington. It’s certainly not a losing strategy for her or anyone else for that matter, and she doesn’t give a rat’s ass what people say anyway.

That is a huge positive and people will eventually look at the state of the country and ask what is really so bad about what she is saying?

The country is in a political lull right now, but wait until late summer and the fall. The media will be torn between who to root for and then who to trash. The public, as evidence shown with ratings, is growing sick of MSNBC and CNN - that’s good news. They will have to cover her because she’s the only person who can draw ratings.

And they will have to cover her with objectivity else they will just piss off and lose even more viewers.

I don’t think she gives a @#&$ what people think.
She isn’t scared of anyone.
She is NOT the standard many see in a politician.
She has faults but doesn’t hide them.
She is more mainstream than any of these career bozos in DC now.

While she might run and might not win a primary, what she says does have an impact on both parties. They (the insiders) can’t stand the fact there is an outsider who doesn’t play by Washington’s playground rules.

I am old enough to remember Reagan, and I voted for him twice. Palin, however great she may be, is no Ronald Reagan. People voted for Reagan because he had proven himself to be a man of substance. Some of us were alive when he defended Goldwater although he was trounced by Johnson. Reagan could deliver a speech like no other in my lifetime. Reagan was elected by landslides.

Exactly.

As much as I like Palin, I’m not sure she can overcome the negatives the media has created for her among the middle-of-the-road voters we much capture to win.

Don’t be silly, her only unfavorables are from non social conservatives who make fun of her becasue of her accent and enthusiasm and what she stands for.

They did the same to Ronald ray-gun-zap

You forgot one.

They hate her because she didn't Abort her baby after she found out he had Downs.

Liberals don't have the guts to do what she did. They want the easy way out. They want things handed to them, just like Obama had things handed to him because he's a Halfrican American Marxist.

She needs to speak in simple declarative sentences that make only a single point.

"She tends to make her important points by reference to what "big names" have said, rather than by tackling the ideas in her own words.

Palin's use of other people's words has a positive effect. I don't think it will hurt her. People have a great appreciation when she gives another fellow American a voice when it deserves recognition. President Reagan personalized his speeches by telling a story about a fellow American. It is an effective way to make a point by personalizing your message.

“Let Palin be Palin”

I think this should be a mantra for Palin supporters. My version: For 2010, let Sarah be Sarah

What does Palin need to do to lower her unfavoribles ?

She needn't do anything, she's perfect. Jesus Christ isn't as perfect as Our Sarah.

Though to be serious, all she needs to do is get 270 electoral votes.
RE; Is she qualified?
Truman couldn't create an atomic bomb, nor did he unilaterally decide to drop these bombs on two Japanese cities.

There is a small segment of the liberals that do hate her because she did not abort her baby, but they were never going to vote for Palin. Her problem is not with the liberals, not if the poll was correct. Her problem is with the independents and conservatives. She has to win them over.
