Just heard I-81 closed from Maryland state line to I-80, and I-78 closed entire length (form I-81 to New Jersey state line) due to the 16"-24" of snow and blizzard conditions.

Heard there was a 50 car pile up, somewhere...

Hope those stuck have blankets, food, water flashlight and plenty of gas....nah, that would be an ‘extremist’...

I-83 is closed as well. Sounds like the eastern half of the state (I-81 and east) is going to be shut down soon. No word yet on reopening the roads.

When my ship was drydocked in Philly I can't count how many locals I talked to who said they would never live in my Northwest because it rains all the time out here.

I'll be thinking of them as I tee off this afternoon, enjoying the warmest January/February on record.

When that varmint they call Phil said they had six more weeks of winter, we wee already into our sixth week of Spring.

Way up here in the White Mtns of NH (they don’t call them that for no reason), we have very little snow. I’d say less than a couple of inches on the ground, and many bare spots.....its about the best winter in my recent memory. We’ve only had a couple of decent snowstorms, and this time of year around here, we usually have between 3 - 6 feet of snow on the ground.

But haven’t you heard?

All the cold weather, ice and snow is CAUSED by global warming!

At least that’s what they’re saying.
