Disgraced former presidential candidate John Edwards has reportedly proposed to his baby mama -- and plans to buy a posh, $3.5 million beachfront home where they can live together.
Edwards popped the question last month at the same time he told his ex-mistress Rielle Hunter that he had issued a statement confirming that he indeed fathered her 2-year-old daughter Frances Quinn, The National Enquirer reported today.

Unfortunately for Edwards (but fortunately for the rest of us), he started turning middle-age crazy during his campaign, at the same time his prostate enlarged and sex was on his mind 24/7. At least that’s the only way I could explain throwing away what could have at least been an ongoing political career (deceitful and dishonest as he was and it would be) in exchange for nookie.

Actually, I’ve seen these relationships work out. It is, as you say, two people who deserve one another finding one another.
From what I’ve seen, this woman worships him, and he likes it. I’ve always thought Elizabeth didn’t show the proper “respect” towards such an “important” man. LOL.

Edwards fled to the couple’s vacation home on Figure Eight Island near Wilmington, N.C. - and attempted to bed a female bartender as well as bar patrons young enough to be his daughter, say shocked witnesses.
In a bombshell exclusive interview with The ENQUIRER, bartender Stephanie Breshears revealed that Edwards repeatedly tried to get her to go back to his house for sex. The 34-year-old divorced mother-of-two said Edwards hit on her “for four consecutive nights” at the local Kornerstone Bistro, where she works.
“I think he’s scum,” Stephanie told The ENQUIRER. “He was definitely looking to pick up women when he came in here - and he wanted me to go back to his house.”
I don’t think Ms. Hunter sees the big picture. She will be 50 in a few short years. John will be looking for a younger model by then.
